On Saturday night, the Los Angeles Clippers emerged victorious against the Denver Nuggets in a marquee matchup that featured two of the best teams in the NBA right now.

The Clippers blew out the Nuggets, and following his team's 132-111 victory, Clippers starting center Marcic Gortat did not mince words when talking about Nuggets big man Nikola Jokic.

“He’s the biggest flopper in the history of NBA,” Gortat said, via Andrew Greif of the Los Angeles Times. “Not only in this year in the league — in the history of NBA. He’s the biggest flopper, 300-pound dude and flopping all the time.

“At the end of the day, he’s very skilled, he doesn’t have to flop every time, but that’s what’s happening. All of a sudden, he pushes me out of bounds and he complains about it? It is what it is. Fouls being called both ways.”

Gortat was obviously unhappy with Jokic's antics on Saturday. So much so, that he had to call out the Serbian for his alleged playacting despite Gortat and the Clippers coming away the huge victory.

Some may see Gortat's statement here as rubbing salt into the wounds of a defeated foe, but it appears that Jokic is not even willing to give Gortat the time of day. In a post-game interview, Jokic merely shrugged off Gortat's remarks and refused to comment on the allegations.

For his part, Gortat has seen a decline in his role since arriving in L.A. last summer via trade. Despite being a starter, the 34-year-old veteran is averaging only 17.5 minutes of action per game. As a result, his production has also been sub-par, with the Polish averaging only 5.0 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game.
