Los Angeles Clippers forward Marcus Morris has always been known to be one to play mind games with his opponents and try to get the better of them. Morris was in the middle of an altercation in Game 1 against the Dallas Mavericks which eventually caused Mavs forward Kristaps Porzingis thrown out. The first year Clipper was back at it again in Game 2 Wednesday night as he, in uncharacteristic fashion, had nothing but the warmest words for Dallas big guy Boban Marjanovic.

The two were lined up against each other as Clippers forward Montrezl Harrell was on the line and Morris dropped some sweet nothings to the Serbian. No, really.

“You're the nicest guy I've ever met. Morris told Marjanovich as he tapped his chest. “You're my guy.”

You just know Marcus Morris isn't lying when he says this about Marjanovic.

It's no surprise that even Morris would have nothing but great things to say to the 7'4″ giant since he's been known to indeed be one of the most cheerful and bubbly characters in the league right now. The Mavericks reserve center has gained a ton of friends around the NBA and has developed a unique friendship with current Philadelphia 76ers forward Tobias Harris when both of them were part of the Clippers roster. Marjanovic is definitely one of the humblest giants the league has ever seen.

After the color that developed in Game 1, we all needed this genuinely nice moment.  Who knew that Marcus Morris had such a soft spot for Boban Marjanovic? I guess he's just like the rest of us.
