The LA Clippers have suffered a season-ending injury just over one month into the 2017-18 NBA regular season with the news of guard Patrick Beverley's knee surgery. Without Beverley, the Clippers have had to rely on Austin Rivers and Lou Williams to control the starting guard positions. If there's one guy right now that the team is looking forward to return, it's another guard they acquired in the offseason in Milos Teodosic.

The 30-year old rookie was highly-expected to help run the Clippers' offense this season, but has been out since the second game of the regular season after suffering a plantar fascia injury. Since then, Teodosic has used a scooter with his leg elevated to completely avoid putting weight on it and was then transferred into a walking boot putting limited weight on it. Teodosic had been using the stationary bike soon after he was put in a walking boot, and it was later removed around November 13th.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, however, Teodosic is not close to a return. Head coach Doc Rivers hasn't provided any updates over the last month that the Serbian guard has been out, and he certainly isn't rushing to return from injury after making his long-anticipated jump to the NBA from Europe.

In two games this season, Teodosic is averaging 5.5 points and four assists.
