Paul George's 2018-19 season didn't end the way he wanted to, as his Oklahoma City Thunder was eliminated in the first round of the playoffs by the Portland Trail Blazers. But what will probably haunt him, at least until next year's playoffs, is the fact that Damian Lillard hit a series-clinching game-winner against him. This summer, George requested a trade from OKC, and he was sent to the Los Angeles Clippers. However, Moe Harkless, one of PG's newest teammates, admitted that Dame's shot is still a sensitive topic for PG.

George was one of the league's best defenders last season, and the fact that Lillard hit a 37-foot 3-pointer in front of him is something that probably hurt his ego. But to be fair, PG was banged up in that series, as he played despite nursing a shoulder injury.

After the Thunder was eliminated, George immediately underwent surgery, and he's expected to miss the first few weeks of the season due to recovery, but once he's 100 percent healthy, PG will be determined to help the Clippers make the playoffs and hopefully, exact revenge on Lillard.

The Clippers are expected to be one of the best teams in the Western Conference this season, but the Blazers aren't pushovers either. Portland is also motivated to win a title next year, and if both teams face each other in the playoffs, it will definitely be a must-watch.

It's safe to say that while winning a championship is George's primary goal this season, a win against Lillard and the Blazers in the playoffs is something that he'll definitely want to achieve.
