The Los Angeles Clippers pulled off one of the biggest coups in recent memory this summer, trading for Paul George and signing Kawhi Leonard on the same night in July.

Now, the Clippers are considered title favorites as a result.

Los Angeles also added other pieces during the offseason, such as wing Maurice Harkless. On Saturday, Harkless told reporters he feels Leonard and George are the two best wings in the NBA:

Of course, Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is still around, but Leonard may very well be the best player in the league right now, and George is certainly right behind Leonard and James when discussing the best wings in the game.

The Clippers acquired Harkless from the Portland Trail Blazers in a four-team trade this offseason. Harkless is coming off a 2018-19 campaign in which he played 60 games and made 53 starts, averaging 7.7 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.1 steals over 23.6 minutes per game while shooting 48.7 percent from the floor, 27.5 percent from three-point range and 67.1 percent from the free-throw line.

The 26-year-old, who played his collegiate basketball at St. John's, was originally selected by the Philadelphia 76ers in the first round (15th pick overall) of the 2012 NBA Draft, but later that summer, he was dealt to the Orlando Magic in a blockbuster four-team deal that involved Dwight Howard being traded to the Lakers.

Harkless, who is a very good defender in his own right, spent the first three years of his career with the Magic before joining the Blazers during the summer of 2015. He owns career averages of 7.3 points and 3.7 rebounds in 475 games.
