There are several great games lined-up by the NBA on Christmas, but most fans are looking forward the most to the marquee match-up between inter-city rivals Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday.

Clippers big man Montrezl Harrell also didn't hide his excitement for the second serving of the “Battle for LA,” sharing his thoughts about the highly anticipated showdown in an appearance on the Posted Up podcast with Chris Haynes.

“It's going to be a test because we played them in the first week of the season and everybody was just hyped and ready to play basketball when we're not playing against each other. Now we have have PG and Kawhi back on the floor. The Lakers are in a good place with the way they're playing right now so it's going to be a test for both teams,” Harrell said.

After splitting time with the NBA and the D-League in his first three seasons as a pro, Harrell has emerged as a force on both ends of the floor this season, notching 19.0 points on 57.2 percent shooting from the field to go along with 7.5 rebounds and 1.2 blocks for coach Doc Rivers.

“It's going to be a special because I've never been a part of, out of my two teams I played for (the Clippers and the Rockets), to the point where I'm playing on Christmas Day,” Harrell added.

The Clippers got the better of the Lakers in their first encounter, 122-102, on opening day, even without Paul George who was nursing a shoulder injury at the time. Both teams have established their dominance since then, with the Purple and Gold at the top of the West with a 24-6 slate and the Clips not far behind at fourth (22-10).
