Stop the presses: Kendrick Perkins is beefing with a current NBA player.

On Monday, the ESPN analyst criticized Los Angeles Clippers guard Lou Williams for his visit to the Magic City strip club in Atlanta on Thursday night after being excused from the Orlando bubble.

“It’s disturbing when a Rookie in Zion Williamson can act more Mature than NBA vet Lou Williams!!!” Perkins posted on Twitter on Monday morning.

Williams responded to Perkins criticism by telling the retired big man to “shut up” and told him to “stop laughing and saying it's just tv when you run into me too.”

Williams' Clippers teammate and fellow Sixth Man of the Year candidate Montrezl Harrell is coming to the guard's defense.

“Big perk what you not gone do is talk wild to the OG, when you don’t got all facts,” Harrell quote-tweeted with Williams' response to the former Boston Celtics center.

Williams attended his grandfather's funeral in Atlanta on Thursday before heading to the famed gentleman's club to pick up what by all accounts are delicious wings. Williams was photographed by rapper Jack Harlow and tagged in the Instagram Story of DJ Motta.

The images caused the NBA to open an investigation into the three-time Sixth Man of the Year winner, resulting in the league announcing that Williams will be required to undergo a 10-day quarantine period in the bubble before he can return to the court. That timeline means Williams will miss the team's first two seeding games, beginning with Thursday's contest against the Los Angeles Lakers.
