Los Angeles Clippers big man Montrezl Harrell has won the 2020 Sixth Man of the Year Award, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.

During the 2019-20 regular season, Montrezl Harrell appeared in 63 games for the Clippers. He averaged 18.6 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists while shooting 58.0 percent from the field and 65.8 percent from the free-throw line.

Clippers shooting guard Lou Williams, who is the best bench scorer in NBA history, averaged 18.2 points for Los Angeles this season. It appears the voters took into account Harrell's scoring and rebounding prowess for the Clippers.

You can't help but feel happy for Harrell, who lost his grandma last month and had to leave the Walt Disney bubble. She would certainly be very proud of her grandson on this terrific day.

Harrell and the Clippers are currently up 1-0 on the Denver Nuggets in the second round of the playoffs. Harrell is averaging 9.9 points and 3.3 rebounds in seven postseason games at Disney World thus far.
