The L.A. Clippers brand-new $173-million man, Blake Griffin, reminisced about what it's like to grow up playing basketball on the blacktop and the way it's served him throughout his seven-year career in the NBA with a new Jordan Brand ad titled The Playground.

The ad features kids playing basketball from an early age, slowly evolving to more-mature, seasoned players, as Griffin describes the playground as a classroom, a runway, a comedy club, a church, and even a drama theater.

This two-minute spot encompasses what a young aspiring NBA player goes through on the road to growing within the game, showing occasional glimpses of the new Jordan Super.Fly sneakers.

Griffin even recalls getting his first dunk at the age of 13, not particularly flashy, but still — the first one is always special — he admitted the rim might have been slightly slanted in his favor, but his first dunk changed his outlook on what attacking the rim really was about.

Griffin is not the same one that entered the league, terrorizing power forwards and centers around the league with his thunderous dunks, but still remains on of the most athletic frontcourt specimens in the league, making him a worthy player to don the new Super.Flys.
