Los Angeles Clippers guard Patrick Beverley was frustrated in Game 6 on Wednesday night. Unfortunately, he let his emotions get the best of him after shoving Chris Paul to the ground that led to an ejection late in the fourth quarter. Beverley won’t get away scot-free, either.

Beverley will face a suspension to start next season for that dangerous behind-the-back push, sources told Yahoo Sports.

I mean, it stands to reason. The Clippers veteran didn’t need to do that, despite what CP3 said to him. At that point, the game was out of reach for LA and Pat Bev clearly just didn’t care anymore.

After a rather entertaining series, the Suns blew the Clippers out of the water in Game 6 in a 130-103 win to book their ticket to the NBA Finals. Paul erupted for 41 points to lead Phoenix, while they also contained Paul George to just 21.

Beverley meanwhile, had just 11 points for the Clippers. Considering that Los Angeles didn’t have Kawhi Leonard for this entire series, the squad still put up a very respectable fight.

Also, you gotta admit it’s nice to see Chris Paul finally get to the finals after 16 years in the league. The Suns now await their opponent as the Hawks and Bucks still battle it out in the East with the series tied 2-2.
