The Los Angeles Clippers are rolling their way into the playoffs, and Patrick Beverley is loving it. After their blowout of the lowly Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday, the defensive-minded pitbull guard said that the Clippers are currently playing at a high level, per ESPN.

“We're playing at a real high level right now,” Beverley said. “We're moving the ball and it's fun. We're defending — so we really don't care who we play.”

Last night's win over the Cavaliers marked their seventh in eight contests, and their 12th in 14.

Los Angeles was led by its super bench tandem of Montrezl Harrell and Lou Williams. Harrell finished with 23 points on an ultra-efficient 10-of-13 shooting, while Williams, who may very well be on his way to being named Sixth Man of the Year for the second straight season, notched 18 points and six assists in just 23 minutes. Likewise, rookie Shai Gilgeous-Alexander netted 22 points to lead all Clippers starters in scoring.

As usual, the Clippers got contributions from a handful of sources as six players scored in double-figures. Los Angeles shot at an outstanding 62.4 percent clip from the field, and made 45.5 percent of their shots from downtown.

Likewise, they also played stingy defense throughout the night, holding Cleveland to 44.6 percent shooting from the field, and 13.0 percent from beyond the arc.

The Clippers officially punched their ticket to the playoffs this past week in a win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Currently, they are still fighting for positioning in the Western Conference standings. A favourable matchup in the first round could perhaps extend their already Cinderella run even further.
