Patrick Beverley was pretty vocal during free agency. He voiced his displeasure with some of his former teammates deciding to part ways with the Los Angeles Clippers after a dysfunctional season. The one player that probably left the most bitter taste in Beverley's mouth was Montrezl Harrell, who decided to join the Clippers' crosstown rivals in the Los Angeles Lakers.

Beverley only had one word to say to reporters on Sunday when asked of his surprise at Harrell deciding to bolt the Clippers for the Lakers:

Beverley, like some of the other Clippers players, were all believed to be under the assumption of mostly everyone returning to give things another shot this upcoming season. That wasn't the belief by the media or many spectators, though few assumed that Harrell would be one of the players to strike first.

Harrell made it known during a press conference with reporters that there was some speculation that the Clippers front office weren't looking to bring back the Sixth Man of the Year, which made him proceed with exploring his options. He didn't have to look far when the defending champions came calling.

JaMychal Green was similar in his devastating blow of ditching the Clippers for the Denver Nuggets, a young squad that put on some epic performances after storming back following being in a 3-1 deficit to the Clippers in the playoffs. He even noted their 3-1 comeback against the Clippers as one of his reasons for wanting to join up with the Nuggets.

The Clippers haven't done themselves any favors this offseason, with continuing reports emerging of the superstar treatment that transpired for both Paul George and Kawhi Leonard, which didn't work over well with the rest of the team. They'll hopefully look to revitalize themselves coming into the coming NBA season.
