LA Clippers forward Paul George admitted that he has practiced with his team just once.

Peep the courtside report below from Allie LaForce. To recall, George missed 11 games at the beginning of the 2019-20 season as he was recovered from two offseason shoulder surgeries.

On top of this, the Clippers as a team never had the opportunity to sneak in some practice sessions. After all, the regular season is a long haul and players rest and recover in their off days. Fortunately, the Clippers will finally get the chance to practice as a team soon.

Clippers head coach Doc Rivers admitted that Kawhi Leonard and George just had once chance to practice together in opposing teams. They never really had a chance to team up in scrimmages.

It's a pretty impressive feat. Especially since the Clippers have a 15-6 record in the young NBA season for third place in the ultra-competitive Western Conference. So how do they perform at an elite level without practice? Per Mirjam Swanson of The Orange County Register, George revealed that Rivers keeps their mind active through film sessions:

“Doc has been very pleasant on our bodies, keeping us off the court, but just keeping us mentally active and engaged through our film sessions.”

Perhaps it's safe to assume that the Clippers aren't operating at a full 100 percent. Once the put in some scrimmages as a team, then the whole NBA might be in trouble.
