Things got a bit chippy between Los Angeles Clippers superstar Paul George and Phoenix Suns' Chris Paul. The tension between the two went up in the middle of Game 3 in Staples Center as the two were seen exchanging some sweet nothings as the series between the Clippers and the Suns continues to heat up.

Here's the two superstars chirping at each other during a dead ball situation (via ESPN):

There's obviously some history between the two vets. This isn't the first time George and Paul have been seen visibly arguing on the court. Fortunately, cooler heads seemed to have prevailed as things didn't escalate from there. PG was probably just asking Paul how his quarantine was if we're being honest.

Both Pauls are looking to lead their team in what's developing into one nail-biting series. After missing the first two games due to the league's health and safety protocols, the Suns' court general finally made it back and started Game 3 to hopefully give his team more boost. George, on the other hand, is looking to bounce back and hopefully get one back as the Clippers have their backs against the wall once again after losing the first two games in Phoenix.

Look for tension between stars to continue to build up as this match-up between these two Western Conference giants picks up.
