The Los Angeles Clippers' Paul George is considering honoring Kobe Bryant with a jersey number change.

As the NBA continues to mourn the death of Bryant, George is thinking of switching his jersey number. The veteran forward currently wears No. 13, but he's thinking of going back to No. 24. No. 24 was the jersey George wore for the first four seasons of his career with the Indiana Pacers.

Of course, N0. 24 the jersey number Bryant wore for the last half of his career.

Jovan Buha of The Athletic details George's reasoning for a possible jersey number change:

“I thought it was great,” George said. “I thought it was great. I seen guys doing it across the league. I actually reached out and see if I could bring 24 back, just because I always want to remember why I started playing this game. And that meant so much to me. You know, so, now I sit back and review it. I think every time should find a way to honor that. Let that jersey be a number that no one would be able to wear again. So we’ll see.”

Other Clippers Pay Tribute To Kobe Bryant

George isn't the only member of the Clippers paying tribute to the Los Angeles Lakers legend. As mentioned by Buha, Moe Harkless also switched his jersey number from No. 8 to No. 11 out of respect for Bryant.

“Other Clippers have made public gestures for Bryant, including Moe Harkless, who switched his jersey number from No. 8 to No. 11. He joined a growing number of players who are changing their numbers from No. 8 and No. 24. Harkless was already wearing No. 11 at practice.”

The NBA continues to be rocked by the sudden passing of one of its greatest players ever, but the players and fans will never forget Bryant's impact on the game of basketball.
