Los Angeles Clippers superstar Paul George has now etched his name in NBA Playoff history, extending his incredible postseason scoring run in a do-or-die Game 5 against the Phoenix Suns.

George was the brightest star in The Valley on Monday night, as the 31-year-old baller dropped a 41-piece to help the Clippers' hopes alive.

With yet another scoring outburst, George has now punched his way into the cream of the crop in terms of elite playoff scorers. George's 41-point performance is his 18th straight playoff game this season where he's been able to score at least 20 points. He now joins the likes of Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan, Los Angeles Lakers icon Kobe Bryant, and Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant (via SportsCenter).

As SportsCenter put it, all of the previous legends made it to the NBA Finals after achieving such a feat which puts history on the side of PG.

George was a juggernaut in Game 5, stepping up again when his team needed him the most. With his Clippers facing elimination, George shut down all the haters and put out a historic game to extend the series to a Game 6 as LA returns to the Staples Center with momentum now on their side.

It has been tough for PG, as he's been one of the most highly scrutinized stars in the league in recent years. But, this season, George is making it a point to rid of all the slander as he continues on this epic quest to bring LA to the promised land and keep their title hopes alive.

With two-time Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard now missing seven straight games for the Clippers, Paul George is grabbing the spotlight and is making sure everyone takes notice.
