Paul George and the Los Angeles Clippers threw the Minnesota Timberwolves on the wrong end of history Friday night, thanks to a mighty collapse from Karl-Anthony Towns and Co.

Midway through the second quarter of their contest, the Timberwolves went ahead 49-29 and looked to be on their way to an easy victory. After all, the Clippers just seemed unable to find their shot. However, as usual in the NBA, no lead is safe–which Ty Lue and Co. proved to be true.

By the end of the half, they cut the lead to 10. Eventually, the LA franchise finally got things rolling and finished the job with an astounding 104-84 reversal. What started as a 20-point deficit ended up as a 20-point victory.

In doing so, the Clippers became just the fourth team in the last 25 years to achieve such feat, per ESPN Stats & Info.

Paul George led the way for the Clippers, recording 21 points, 11 rebounds and six assists. Reggie Jackson stepped up big time for the team as well, chipping in 20 points on top of four boards and four dimes.

As for the Timberwolves, it was a truly ugly win. Karl-Anthony Towns, Anthony Edwards and Malik Beasley combined for 55 points–which is 65 percent of the team's final score. They were the only players to score in double digits for the team.

Interestingly, the loss came after Towns warned his teammates about how a three-game slide can quickly turn into a 20-game losing skid. Clearly, the Timberwolves better listen to their leader and get things sorted out before they ended up fighting for the Ping-Pong balls once again.
