It took them a couple days, but Paul George and the Los Angeles Clippers finally took a game from Joe Ingles and the Utah Jazz in the Western Conference Semifinals. George in particular got loose for a postseason-high 31 points on 12-of-24 shooting from the field, including 6-of-10 from beyond the arc.

George and Ingles have had their feud dating back to the 2018 postseason, when George was a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Just a few days ago, prior to Game 2, Joe Ingles was asked about his rumored “beef” with Paul George and if that's still going on. He shut it down pretty quick as well.

“The whole narrative of Joe vs. Paul George is a little bit old in my mind,” Joe Ingles said. “It’s the Jazz vs. the Clippers, it was OKC vs the Jazz…

“I personally don’t read into the one-on-one stuff. I mean three years ago is a long time. My twins were barely talking then and now they’re five and annoy the hell out of me so three years is a long time. I hope he’s happy there and whatever, but it’s the Jazz vs. the Clippers and that’s all I’m focused on.”

Paul George also seems to have moved on from the head-to-head matchup three years ago. After dropping 31 masterful points and getting his Clippers back into the series, one reporter decided to make the conversation about his relationship with Joe Ingles instead of the game.

Safe to say George wasn't a fan of the question.

“I don't care about him,” Paul George snapped back before the question could be finished. “Next question.”

It's unclear whether George still feels some type of way toward Ingles, but that Jazz team and the struggles George had in that series are major factors in how he is viewed by NBA fans.

Game 4 between the Clippers and Jazz will be a big one. Either the Jazz take a commanding 3-1 series lead heading back home to Utah or LA knots the series up at 2-2.
