Paul George says the Los Angeles Clippers aren't looking at a “Battle for LA” with the Lakers.

The Clippers have George and Kawhi Leonard, while the Lakers have LeBron James and Anthony Davis. So naturally, there's going to be heavy competition in LA next season.

For the first time in franchise history, the Clippers are title contenders. Even though LAC got Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, they can't get too cocky and skip steps. This is a organization, after all, which has never won an NBA title. With Leonard and George leading the way, it's doubtful the Clippers will feel themselves too much and underachieve in 2019-20.

Leonard averaged 26.6 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists last season with the Toronto Raptors, while George put up 28.0 points, 8.2 rebounds and 4.1 assists with the Oklahoma City Thunder. As we all know, both All-Stars are elite players on both ends of the floor. Clippers fans can't wait to see PG and The Claw make their debuts at Staples Center.

The Lakers are going to be really good with LeBron James and Anthony Davis leading the charge. After missing out on Leonard, the purple-and-gold filled out their roster by signing Danny Green, DeMarcus Cousins, Avery Bradley, Jared Dudley and Quinn Cook. The Lakers also re-signed Rajon Rondo, JaVale McGee and Kentavious-Caldwell Pope.

The Lakers-Clippers games at Staples Center are going to be intense. You can expect all those games to be on national television.
