A lingering hamstring injury will keep Los Angeles Clippers star Paul George out of the team's game Wednesday against the Orlando Magic, per Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints. The game will mark the Clippers' fourth straight game without their big offseason acquisition.

Injuries have plagued the five-time All-NBA performer as he will have missed 16 of Los Angeles' 42 games this season. In the 26 games that he has played in, George has cemented himself as one of the best two-way players in the league.

The 6-foot-8 small forward is averaging 23.5 points, 6.o rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.8 steals per game while shooting 42.9 percent from the field and 39.5 percent from beyond the arc.

In the games that George has missed, the Clippers have a record of 9-6. As far as the whole season goes, Los Angeles is 28-13 and sits in fourth place in the Western Conference.

George was part of a massive blockbuster deal that sent him from Oklahoma City to Los Angeles in exchange for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Danilo Gallinari and five first-round picks. George joined fellow California native Kawhi Leonard on the Clippers as the two formed one of the best duos in the NBA.

While the Clippers have at times, fallen short of the very high expectations set upon by fans and media, George's struggles with injuries have much to do with that. Other than a 2014-2015 season that saw George suffer a gruesome leg injury, the former Fresno State star has managed to stay relatively healthy throughout his career.

With George out once again, expect eight-year veteran Maurice Harkless to get the start for Los Angeles at the small forward spot.
