The Los Angeles Clippers have been surprisingly quiet during the 2021 NBA free agency spending spree. However, that ended on Friday, as Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported that Reggie Jackson agreed to a two-year deal to return to the Clippers.

Jackson is one of the bigger names left on the market and he gets a pretty nice deal to return to the Clippers. For what it's worth, they are still waiting on a decision with Kawhi Leonard, although it has long been rumored that he was set to return to the Clippers after having surgery for his ACL earlier in the summer.

Jackson was terrific for the Clippers, especially down the stretch and in the playoffs. He dropped double-digits in every game against the Phoenix Suns in the Western Conference FInals and has become one of the key scorers for the Clippers.

With Leonard potentially out for the majority of the 2021-2022 NBA season– if he does return to the Clippers– Jackson's role and scoring will be even more important.

Getting a deal done with Jackson was always a priority, and rookie Jason Preston all but hinted at his return in a press conference recently as well.

So, now it is official: Reggie Jackson is back.
