Veteran point guard Reggie Jackson will make his Los Angeles Clippers debut on Saturday against the Sacramento Kings.

Jackson will come off the bench for the Clippers, Tomer Azarly reports.

After their recent moves at the trade deadline, the Clippers are expected to start Patrick Beverley, Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, Marcus Morris and Ivica Zubac moving forward, with Reggie Jackson coming off the bench.

Jackson only played in 14 games for the Detroit Pistons this season because of a back injury. He averaged 14.9 points, 2.9 rebounds and 5.1 assists while shooting 38.4 percent from the field, 37.8 percent from beyond the arc and 78.8 percent from the free-throw line.

The 29-year-old playmaker has career NBA averages of 12.9 points, 3.0 rebounds and 4.4 assists with the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Pistons. He becomes an unrestricted free agent after the 2019-20 campaign ends.

Los Angeles is 37-18 on the season and in third place in the Western Conference standings. Jackson is close friends with George, and he has wanted to play with him for a while now.

The Clippers now have a few ball-dominant players on the roster. Head coach Doc Rivers is going to have his work cut out for him in the second half of the season in terms of making sure everyone is happy with their touches.
