New L.A. Clippers forward Sam Dekker could be making $1.8 million this upcoming season (his third in the NBA), but it doesn't mean he doesn't face the mundane problems that everyone else faces every once in a while.
As it turns out, Dekker had some problem with his sink pipes, so instead of looking at Angie's List for a specialist, he called on another Wisconsin great in Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
The gunslinger's arm talent seems to go past threading the needle on bullet passes to his tight ends or dropping long bombs right in the bread basket, but also extends into getting a wrench and fixing everyday household problems.

Apparently, this observation that Jimmy Fallon of The Tonight Show once pointed out has been spoken into truth years later.

But of course, having an All-Pro quarterback fix a malfunctioning disposal isn't enough for some people, namely Dekker's fiancee Olivia Harlan of ESPN.
When I said "honey, feel free to take care of a few things when I'm gone"… didn't mean bring in free help to fix our janky disposal https://t.co/lXl2YL87eD

Some were even complimentary of his usage of real tools.
At least there's a toolbox on the floor-most men use butter knives

Others argued whether Rodgers charged the Wisconsin native for his handyman services.
Good thing it's free. Imagine the off hour rates he'd charge.

One thing is sure, this famous plumber won't be sporting his preseason Super Mario Bros mustache in Week 1, as he seems to have shaved it off to maximize his wrench game when helping the Dekker household.
