The L.A. Clippers welcomed their new players Thursday morning at their first practice. Among them were Tobias Harris and Avery Bradley, both of whom were acquired in the trade that sent Blake Griffin to the Detroit Pistons.

Bradley and Harris both gave their thoughts on how they would fit in with Clippers now that they are officially part of the team.

“I think I fit in well,” Bradley said. “My entire career, I've been a grind-type player. I've been a guy that goes out there, hard-nosed guy that plays hard. Every single game, I feel like I just play with that mentality. I should fit in perfect.”

Harris said he will want to embrace his new teammates' ways and do whatever he can to win.

“Just come in and play my game,” Harris said. “Obviously, I'm a forward-type player — play both positions, three, four — can stretch the floor, shoot the three-ball, score.”

Both Harris and Bradley are different players, but that's a good thing for this Clippers team that now is only left with one star-level player in DeAndre Jordan.

Bradley is known for his defense, which will definitely be valuable for the Clippers. And while L.A. parted ways with Blake Griffin, a perennial All-Star, they still acquired a solid piece in Harris who can score while being a more versatile and younger.

Whether or not the new additions for the Clippers will help them contend for a playoff spot remains to be seen. But at least the Clippers came away with versatile players who can make impacts on the basketball floor right away.
