Montrezl Harrell has been a revelation for the Los Angeles Clippers this season. In fact, he is one of the team's best players despite coming off the bench and is one of the frontrunners to win the Sixth Man of the Year.

The 25-year old forward was impressive in Game 1 of the Clippers' first round best-of-seven series matchup against the Golden State Warriors. He finished with 26 points on 11-15 shooting, five rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks despite his team losing 121-104. Harrell did enough to earn the attention of Dubs' Kevin Durant, who had nothing but high praises for him.

Harrell started his career with the Houston Rockets back in 2015. Two years later, he was sent to the Clippers as part of the Chris Paul trade, and he immediately made his presence felt for his new team.

This season, Harrell is averaging a career-best 16.6 points and 6.5 rebounds. He's also been instrumental in helping the Clippers make the playoffs. Although the task of beating the Warriors seems close to impossible, it hasn't prevented the 6-foot-8 big man to give his 100 percent effort on the court.

Sure, the Clippers have plans to land one or two top-tier free agents this summer, but it is clear that Harrell will be a part of the franchise's long-term future.

Who knows? Montrezl Harrell and Kevin Durant could be playing with each other next season.
