Following their painful loss to the Utah Jazz on Saturday, with Joe Johnson winning it at the buzzer, the L.A. Clippers are now ready to move past it and are now focused on Game 2 of the series.

The team's All-Star power forward, Blake Griffin, recently shared, via Bill Oram of The Orange County Register, that his team is a veteran group that understands a series is not over after winning in Game 1. He also added that having been in a similar situation before and still coming out on top helps them not to panic.

“A lot of guys have played enough playoff games to know it’s truly a series. Everybody says that. But we’ve been up 2-0 several times and lost a series (to Portland last year). We’ve been up 3-1 and lost a series (to Houston in 2015). We’ve lost a first game and won a series (Golden State, 2014). So it doesn’t really matter, you know?”

His teammate, J.J. Redick, echoed his statement while also adding that it's just a matter of coming up with adjustments, to put them in a good spot to win the next game.

“Nobody died. No one has cancer that I know of. It’s the playoffs, you’re not going to go 16-0, you move to the next game, you make your adjustments, you try to win the next one. There’s no grieving going on.”

The Los Angeles faithful are hoping their players will be able to keep their mindset throughout the series. Many believe this is the last run for the Clippers' core, with three of their starters slated to become free agents come summertime. However, if they can win it all this season, it will definitely have a huge effect on their decisions, and they may opt to stay put and win more titles together.
