After all the pieces that are moving out of the L.A. Clippers, the team is now looking to lock in on one of its own — Avery Bradley. The 27-year-old shooting guard is coming off his worst period of play in years, but that hasn't deterred the franchise into not letting him walk out.

According to Marc J. Spears of The Undefeated, the Clippers look to retain Bradley's services.

Avery Bradley, the two-time NBA All-Defensive team selection, is one of the best on-ball defenders in the league. The Clippers have interest in re-signing Bradley, a source said.

Bradley, along with Tobias Harris and Boban Marjanovic, entered Tinseltown as part of a trade that sent Blake Griffin to the Detroit Pistons last season. Back in March, Bradley was shut down for the remainder of the year after undergoing a surgery on his adductor and rectus abdominis muscles.

He failed to make an impact for the team, playing in only six games and mustering a measly 9.2 points to go along with 3.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.

That said, Bradley, when healthy, remains as one of the league's most devastating defensive forces. He was an All-Defensive First Team member in 2016 and a second-teamer in 2013. The Clippers had recently lost Austin Rivers to a trade, giving way for an opportunity for Bradley to see more time on the floor.

However, a player of his age and caliber won't go unnoticed by other teams. Bradley brings forth a three-and-D specialty that is highly-valued in today's NBA.

He'll officially become an unrestricted free agent on July 1.
