While the Los Angeles Clippers bowed out of the playoffs far earlier than what they would've liked to (Kawhi Leonard's injury being the nail in the coffin), they found a key contributor in Reggie Jackson.

Jackson went wild in the postseason for the Clippers and proved to be a legitimate No. 2 option behind Paul George in the absence of Leonard. With Jackson set to hit free agency, there will be no shortage of teams interested in the guard who did nothing but skyrocket the amount of money he could have coming his way based off his postseason performances.

According to Sam Amick of The Athletic, the priority for the Clippers is to get Jackson back but, plenty of others are interested.

From there, sources say the Clippers’ priorities are to re-sign point guard Reggie Jackson and forward Nicolas Batum. Jackson stated his passionate case for returning on the night the Clippers lost to Phoenix in the West Finals, but the extended Leonard absence could always change the calculus of players who had planned on being in the championship mix again.

All four rumored teams would make plenty of sense if Jackson doesn't go back to the Clippers.

The Pelicans are likely to lose Lonzo Ball in free agency and may not land Kyle Lowry either. The Knicks desperately need a point guard and have plenty of cap space to work with. Boston traded away Kemba Walker leaving them with Marcus Smart and Payton Pritchard at the one spot and Denver is always looking to add contributors like Jackson.

The question will be if the Clippers can stay as the most appealing option for Jackson as free agency begins.
