As part of an appearance on the Super Moscato Show in France, Joakim Noah's father, Yannick, revealed that his son will be working out for the LA Clippers (h/t Clipperholics):

ā€œHe's going to train in Los Angeles with the Clippers,ā€ Yannick said during his appearance on the Super Moscato Show.

Noah, now 34 years of age, has heard his name tossed around quite a bit in recent days, but for whatever reason, the former No. 9 overall pick remains without an NBA deal.

As a 12-year NBA vet, Noah could be a fine addition for the Clippers, who have one spot remaining on their roster. However, LA already has three centers in Ivica Zubac, Montrezl Harrell and Mfiondu Kabengele. If Joakim is added to the rotation, he would serve as a backup.

In 42 appearances with the Memphis Grizzlies last season (one start), Noah racked up averages of 7.1 points on 51.6 percent shooting from the field, 5.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 16.5 minutes per game.

Keep in mind that this information is not coming from a usual source, but rather from Joakim's own father. Whether or not the Clippers will indeed make a move for Noah remains to be seen.

LA is expected to be a title contender this season after adding Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.
