The Los Angeles Clippers are interested in bringing back small forward Tobias Harris this summer if they don't land Kawhi Leonard, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

The Clippers traded Harris to the Philadelphia 76ers at the February trade deadline. The talented swingman becomes an unrestricted free agent this offseason and will command a max contract on the open market.

One team that should express interest in Harris should they miss out on Kawhi Leonard, according to league sources: The Clippers. Harris and the Clippers had a good relationship and Harris had an All-Star caliber season before the trade to the 76ers in February. Dallas, Memphis, and New Orleans are expected to also express interest.

This past season with the Clippers and Sixers, Harris averaged 20.0 points, 7.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists while shooting 48.7 percent from the field, 39.7 percent from beyond the arc and 86.6 percent from the free-throw line.

The Sixers want to re-sign Harris and Jimmy Butler, who will also get a max deal this offseason. The Clippers made the playoffs in 2018-19 despite not having a single All-Star on the team. Los Angeles' main focus is to try to lure Leonard back home, but it looks like adding Harris is their contingency plan.
