The L.A. Clippers have reportedly agreed to terms with free agent shooting guard C.J. Williams on a training camp deal, according to G-League reporter Chris Reichert. The signing will bring the team's camp roster to the maximum allowed of 20, and will have six players compete for their last remaining guaranteed deal.

The 27-year-old NC State product went undrafted back in 2012, and decided to take his talents overseas, playing for ETHA Engomis in Cyprus, Giorgio Tesi Group Pistola of the Italian Serie A, and JDA Dijon Basket of the French League. Williams is also a D-League veteran, and suited up for the Texas Legends last season in 50 games, averaging 12.8 points and 4.1 rebounds per game. Williams was recently part of the Team USA squad that won the gold medal in the AmeriCup Championships in Argentina over the weekend.

Making the Clippers' final roster is going to be a tall order for C.J. Williams, to say the least, as they already have an influx of guards, with the likes of Austin Rivers, Patrick Beverley, Lou Williams, and Milos Teodosic. It also does not help his cause that DeAndre Liggins, Marshall Plumlee, and Tyrone Wallace, among others, are also vying for the 15th roster spot.
