The L.A. Clippers officially hired The Logo himself in Jerry West as a consultant with the team, and it didn't take long for them to hit the trade rumor mill. According to Chris Haynes of ESPN, the Clippers have been gauging teams' interest in their All Star center DeAndre Jordan. Haynes adds that the Clippers have at least had exploratory talks with a number of teams about Jordan.

The Phoenix Suns were reportedly proposed a trade scenario where Jordan would go down to Arizona while Suns center Tyson Chandler as well as the 4th overall pick in the Thursday's NBA Draft would go to the Clippers. Haynes adds that Phoenix was the one to shoot that trade proposal down.

The Clippers have two huge free agents to re-sign in Chris Paul and Blake Griffin once free agency begins on July 1st. Over the last couple of years, the team has been limited in terms of salary cap flexibility and always went with veteran players over youth and athleticism.
