Retired NBA player and current Los Angeles Clippers assistant coach Sam Cassell witnessed firsthand how much of a “fun guy” Kawhi Leonard truly is.

Doc Rivers’ deputy was on the sidelines laughing hysterically on Tuesday night after superstar Kawhi Leonard made a joke (or did he?) during the team’s 114-99 road win over the Dallas Mavericks at the American Airlines Center.

Cassell appeared to ask the reigning MVP Finals something and he received a typical Leonard deadpan response — which had him in stitches.

Cassell was so entertained that he even bothered fellow assistant coach Tyronn Lue with what Leonard said.

The Clippers, meanwhile, certainly have a lot to laugh about after snapping the Mavs’ five-game winning streak and improving their record 13-5, which is good for third place in the Western Conference.

The Klaw once again led the uprising with 28 points, eight boards and four dimes in 28 minutes of action.
