Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray had some bad intentions when he went up for an insane dunk attempt in the final period of Game 3 against the Los Angeles Clippers. Unfortunately for him, it was Kawhi Leonard who met him at the rim.

Sure enough, Murray's poster attempt quickly turned into what was easily the block of the night. Interestingly, a closer look at the play showed that Kawhi actuallys topped the dunk with his middle finger!

Here's a look at the amazing defensive play from the Clippers' do-it-all superstar:

Murray had the right idea here, taking it strong to the basket in a crucial juncture in the fourth period. Kawhi Leonard read him all the way though, and he timed his block attempt to perfection.

It was the Clippers who emerged as the victors in what was a tightly contested matchup between the two squads, 113-107. LA has now gone up 2-1 in the series, as they bounced back with a statement win following their Game 2 defeat.

Kawhi Leonard was amazing in the showdown, finishing with 23 points on 9-of-19 shooting. He also had 14 boards, six assists and two blocks in 42 minutes of action. It was Clippers forward Paul George, however, who was the star of the show on Monday after logging 32 markers on a very efficient 12-of-18 shooting.

For his part, Jamal Murray had another poor shooting effort in Game 3, going 5-of-17 for just 14 points. He did grab four rebounds and dish out nine assists, so at least he was able to help his team out despite the off night from the field.

Game 4 is scheduled for Wednesday in what should be a key contest for this back-and-forth series.
