When it comes to scoring the basketball, LA Clippers guard Lou Williams has a seemingly unlimited bag of tricks at his disposal.

Williams broke out one of his trusted favorites late in the third quarter of Friday's win over the Chicago Bulls: the 3-point bucket plus the foul.

That's one way to help your squad log 45 points in the third quarter alone. It's also another one of the reasons why Williams could be closing in on his second straight — and third career — NBA Sixth Man of the Year Award.

Williams banked 21 points during Friday's win, actually below his season average, but he remains at 20.3 points per game on the season.

His only thr3ee-point bucket of the night came on that and-1, a move that he and fellow bench legend Jamal Crawford have helped bring into vogue around the league.

Lou Williams has been to the postseason on seven separate occasions throughout his NBA career, but never before has he been the lead man in charge. Following the mid-season trade of Tobias Harris to the Philadelphia 76ers, however, Williams is now the team's leading scorer and is facing the prospect of leading his team into a first round match-up against a top-ranked Western Conference foe come next month.

The Clippers boast a dazzling amalgamation of talent, but it will be Williams and his ever-evolving bag of tricks that determines how far they go this 2018-19 — with the city turning to everyone's favorite sixth man to see if he can become “the” man.
