Los Angeles Clippers big man Montrezl Harrell paid homage to WNBA legend Sue Bird as he made his way into the arena for Game 5 against the Denver Nuggets on Friday.

It's always great to see NBA players supporting the WNBA. Sue Bird is one of the greatest basketball players of all time and she's an icon, not just for women's basketball.

Montrezl Harrell and the Clippers are one win away from advancing to the conference finals for the first time in franchise history. Los Angeles is up 3-1 on the Nuggets and has all the momentum in the series.

Harrell, who won the 2020 Sixth Man of the Year Award, is averaging 12.8 points and 2.8 rebounds for the Clippers in the Nuggets series. He's shooting 53.3 percent from the field and 65.5 percent from the free-throw line.

The energetic Harrell, along with Lou Williams, continues to be lethal off the Clippers' bench.

It looks like we are going to get the all L.A. matchup involving the Clippers in the 2020 Western Conference Finals. The Los Angeles Lakers are up 3-1 on the Houston Rockets in their series. LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Co. can finish off James Harden and the Rockets on Saturday, earning a date with Montrezl Harrell next week.

Fans can't wait to see Kawhi Leonard and Paul George go up against James and Davis in a seven-game series. Harrell will also be trying to chase a championship with the Clippersā€¦ just as Sue Bird is trying to do with the Seattle Storm as the WNBA approaches its own postseason in 2020.
