Los Angeles Clippers guard Patrick Beverley is feeling quite good about himself after helping his team carve out a 111-106 statement win over the Western Conference-leading Los Angeles Lakers in their Christmas Day match-up on Wednesday.

The 31-year-old defensive dynamo took on the challenge of defending Lakers superstar LeBron James in some stretches and even completed a crucial stop against the King late in the game to seal the victory.

The one-time All-NBA Defensive First team member even shared some playful banter with the pro-Laker crowd, as one spectator quipped that he will call the league's best scorer James Harden.

Bev, who has also been tasked to slow down Harden in their epic matches this season, responded by claiming that he will lock up James Harden's ass too.

Apart from playing his disruptive brand of defense, Beverley also contributed on other facets of the game on Wednesday, pitching in eight points, nine rebounds and four assists in 32 minutes of play.
