Los Angeles Clippers point guard Patrick Beverley seems poised for a comeback this season after a knee surgery that forced him to sit out almost the whole season.

The 6-foot-1 defensive hound is seen throwing dunks and making pull-up jumpers with ease. This comes after a microfracture surgery done on his injured knee. He was cleared by Dr. Walter Lowe for basketball activities in June.
“I saw Pat [Thursday] and ordered a new MRI approximately six months out from his microfracture biocartilage repair and lateral meniscus repair,” Lowe said in a statement. “His recovery has been remarkable and I have cleared him to return to all basketball activities. This speedy recovery is a testament to Pat’s diligence to the comprehensive rehabilitation program between Houston and LA.”
It's great to see that the 30-year-old point guard is back at it less than a year after his injury.
After being shipped to the Clippers as an integral piece of the Chris Paul trade, Beverley had a promising start to the 2017-18 season, averaging 12.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.7 steals per game. But he would just play 11 games for the Clippers due to the knee injury.
After losing DeAndre Jordan to free agency this offseason, the Clippers have finally moved on from the Lob City era. Former Washington Wizards center Marcin Gortat has taken the place of Jordan in the frontcourt, while Beverley is expected to fight for a starting role in the Clips' crowded backcourt.
