Los Angeles Clippers superfan Clipper Darrell has started the trash talking on LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.
In the Summer League game between the Clippers and Lakers, Darrell was caught on video shouting at LeBron and saying that the Purple and Gold era is over. James just laughed off the matter though and shook his head in amusement.

It's hard to blame Clipper Darrell for the thrash talk though. After all, the Clippers just signed Kawhi Leonard and acquired Paul George from the Oklahoma City Thunder to form one of the deadliest duos in the NBA.
In fact, the Clips are now considered heavy favorites to win the NBA title next season, with the Lakers and their LeBron James-Anthony Davis pairing a little bit behind.
The Battle of LA is expected to be the biggest storyline of the 2019-20 campaign. Besides, the city has two legitimate title contenders.
Sure enough, a game is yet to be played and fans will hope that both sides will be able to stay healthy in order to live up to the hype and expectations. To recall, PG suffered a shoulder injury in the latter part of the 2018-19 season and had to undergo surgery this offseason. Meanwhile, LeBron also missed plenty of time with a groin injury.
