Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Remastered isn't something we can look forward to. Not at least until Activision changes their mind.

Late last week, Activision dispelled rumors that they are working on a COD MW3 Remastered game. Rumors about the remaster have been in the air since the release of the COD MW2 Campaign Remastered came out alongside the Modern Warfare reboot in 2020. This is also in spite of the fact that the remaster for the original Modern Warfare game was a success.

Infinity Ward and Beenox worked on the remaster of the original Modern Warfare, with Raven Software pitching in for the MW2 Campaign Remastered. Had MW3 Remastered been a thing, they probably would be the same guys working on this game. However, we know that Infinity Ward and Raven Software are busy with Call of Duty Vanguard alongside Sledgehammer Games and Treyarch. On top of this new Call of Duty game, content for COD Warzone also continues to roll in.

Usually, when video game development studios end up working on multiple projects that will require more resources than they already have, they end up hiring new folks for this. We haven't seen any evidence of either Infinity Ward, Raven Software, or Beenox doing this. Hence, it might be good for COD fans to stop fantasizing about COD MW3 Remastered to save themselves from disappointment.
