Facebook Gaming announced that they've cut ties with both Call of Duty content creators Jeff Leach and Luke “NitroLukeDX” Pickering. In a statement sent to Gameindustry.biz, Facebook revealed that they will no longer be working with the two because of their history of hateful and inappropriate speech.

“We expect our Facebook Gaming partners to model a high standard of conduct,” the statement reads. “As of today, we have ended our contract with Jeff Leach and terminated his partner status with Facebook Gaming. We've done the same with NitroLukeDX due to his behavior on prior streams.”

Facebook Gaming follows pronouncement by Activision to cut ties with Leach, NitroLukeDX

This decision by Facebook Gaming follows an earlier pronouncement by Activision that they're cutting ties with Leach. Activision condemned Leach after NitroLukeDX produced content accusing Leach of sexism and hateful speech. The video showed Leach making sexist comments, some of which were made towards Natalie “ZombiUnicorn: Casanova. Leach responded to NitroLukeDX, threatening legal action. The two have had a history of butting heads together in the past.

However, NitroLukeDX's stunt to slander Leach backfired. Twitter users responded to his thread calling him out for his past videos. People pointed out that NitroLukeDX have also made similar hurtful comments in the past. In one video, NitroLukeDX hurled insults to a viewer named Keith, calling him names and asking him to stop watching his live stream. Thanks to this video resurfacing, Facebook Gaming reacted by cutting ties with both NitroLukeDX and Leach.

Leach has previously been banned in Twitch for the same reasons. Since then, he took his live streaming activities to Facebook Gaming. However, thanks to this newest ban, he might have to find a new home for his content. Will we see them both on Youtube Gaming next, or is this the end of their careers?
