The Los Angeles Dodgers have recently won their seventh World Series title in franchise history after dispatching the Tampa Bay Rays in Game 6 of the championship series.

The victory stirred excitement for another Los Angeles champion in Lakers star Lebron James who expressed his desire to have a championship parade for both teams amidst the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Dodgers outfielder Cody Bellinger then reacted to James' tweet and went on to tag Eric Garcetti who serves as the mayor of Los Angeles:

His reaction was caused by the recent news that the Los Angeles area recently saw a spike in coronavirus cases after around a thousand individuals gathered in the streets of the area to celebrate the Lakers' win back in early October. The coronavirus count in Los Angeles county now reaches a total of 302,000 cases.

In the middle of their series-clinching victory, Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner was pulled off from the team after receiving word of him being positive for the COVID-19. With compliance to safety protocols, the Dodgers celebrated their most recent title without a large dogpile and bottles of champagne in the locker rooms.

The Dodgers' most recent victory to end a frustrating championship drought is only indicative of a bright future for Bellinger, right fielder Mookie Betts, shortstop Corey Seager and the rest of the team. Despite not having a chance to celebrate together with their fans in Los Angeles, both Cody Bellinger and Lebron James are just glad to be crowned as champions.
