If Jared Goff helps the Rams win the Super Bowl on Sunday, it will be the upset of a lifetime — but Colin Cowherd thinks he can pull it off.

But Colin Cowherd isn't the only one who thinks that Goff is able to pull off the biggest upset in Super Bowl history.

Writing for USA Today, Mike Jones says that Jared Goff has been made for precisely this moment.

“This Cali kid is unflappable, they say. He maintains the same even temperament in victory and defeat. When hurriedly labeled a bust after posting a 0-7 record as a rookie, Goff could have doubted himself and the abilities that prompted the Rams to make him the No. 1 pick in the 2016 draft. But he says, “To be honest, I never lost confidence.”

Goff's future looks bright throughout the league, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. So much so, in fact, that they feel that he's the future of the NFL, especially as Brady enters his twilight years.

“Goff was the No. 1 overall pick in 2016 and was followed by Carson Wentz at No. 2 to Philadelphia. The old-timers will be gone soon. Roethlisberger. Drew Brees. Eli Manning. Aaron Rodgers. Philip Rivers. Maybe even Brady, although I’m not sure he’ll ever retire.”

It should be interesting to see if Jared Goff takes home the big victory for the Rams, especially since the Rams haven't won a Super Bowl since 2000.

Jared Goff and the Los Angeles Rams will play against the New England Patriots on Sunday, February 3rd, beginning at 3:00 PM EST.
