Colin Kaepernick has teamed up with Ben & Jerry's for a new ice cream flavor.

The quarterback shared the news via his official Twitter feed on Wednesday.

The non-dairy flavor will be called “Change the Whirled”, and will include caramel ice cream with fudge chips, graham cracker swirls, and chocolate cookie dough (yes, please).

The former San Francisco 49ers QB said the new flavor would hit shelves early next year, with 100% of his and the company's proceeds going to Kaepernick's Know Your Rights Camp. The company described “Change the Whirled” as “the flavor that's supporting the fight to dismantle systems of oppression and empower Black and Brown people,” in its announcement on social media.

The iconic ice cream brand has long associated itself with progressive causes, and supports various racial justice groups and initiatives on its official website, among other social issues.

“It is true that while we may have fewer overt racists, racism is still deeply embedded within systems like our schools, workplaces, the criminal justice system and hospitals, to name a few. Think about it: because white people occupy a disproportionate number of positions of power in our society it comes at the expense of people of color,” the company writes on its Racial Justice page.

On June 5, the company posted a thread of information and plans of action to combat systemic racism and police brutality.

“To achieve justice, we don’t need just thoughts and prayers — we need education and action. The below thread offers some ways to learn about our country’s history, its impact on the present, and the underlying conditions that led to the murder of George Floyd,” the company wrote. “… Black Lives Matter, and justice is long overdue, so we better make sure it’s baked right into everything we do.”

As for Colin Kaepernick, he is still without an NFL franchise to call him.
