The Indianapolis Colts got quarterback Andrew Luck back last season. An injury had threatened to end his career, but he came back in 2018 and immediately became an MVP candidate again.

Due to that, you can't be too upset with someone if they're a little worried about his current injury. Of course, it's nowhere near as serious (strained calf) – but it's better to be safe than sorry.

However, according to Zak Keefer on Twitter, head coach Frank Reich isn't too worried about the situation.

After missing all of 2017, Andrew Luck threw for 4,593 yards and 39 touchdowns on a career-best 67.3 completion percentage. Most importantly, he played in all 16 games.

That fantastic season led to a 10-6 record and a playoff birth for the Indianapolis Colts – and it made Andrew Luck a name in the MVP conversation.

With all that in mind, it's clear Luck is a major key to the success of the Colts. Therefore, an injury that's keeping him out of minicamp is going to be pretty big news.

For Frank Reich though, that isn't the case. Even if Andrew Luck ends up missing the entire camp, that's not a big worry for him. Honestly, it shouldn't be either. This is an injury that there's no reason to rush Luck back from. The Colts don't need him for minicamp, so why risk further injury.

It should also be noted that Reich made a point to say that Luck is indeed working out and throwing. That means he's doing most of the work necessary, he's just not on the field. He's almost ready.

If you're a fan of Andrew Luck or the Indianapolis Colts, it's easy to get a little nervous about anything injury related.

However, all signs point to this being nothing to worry about – at least that's what Frank Reich says.
