Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck was held out of much of the team's spring practices with a calf injury.

Thankfully for Luck and the Colts, things seem much better now, and the Colts plan to have their franchise quarterback for the entirety of training camp, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

While the calf injury to Luck was deemed “minor” and wouldn’t have kept him out of actual games, the Colts likely thought it best to hold him out of unnecessary practice. Now, he’ll be ready to roll when it comes to training camp, and can help get acclimated with a Colts team that tries to contend with a tough AFC conference.

After returning to football after missing the 2017 season, Luck shook off some initial rust to help lead the team to a 10-6 record. In the process, Luck finished with 4,593 yards, 39 touchdowns, and 15 interceptions to go along with a 98.7 quarterback rating.

The Colts were able to make it out of the first round of the playoffs, but fell to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Divisional round.

Now, with a full offseason of training ahead of him, Luck looks to try and improve the Colts fortunes. Alongside a dominant offensive line, the Colts will be contending in an AFC South division that has generally seemed to go down to the wire in most years. As the Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans look to improve, the Colts will have a formidable group of teams to battle within their division.

Thankfully for them, Andrew Luck seems to be fully healthy and ready to go.
