The Indianapolis Colts surprised just about everybody as a result of the recent 2018-19 campaign. Thanks in part to the rejuvenated play of quarterback Andrew Luck, the Colts returned to the postseason as one of the two AFC Wild Card teams before coming up a bit short come playoff time.

Now with a fully healthy season under his belt, the oft-injured signal caller, who previously dealt with a slew of shoulder-related troubles, seems primed to perform well yet again come next season. Even so, the 2019 NFL offseason is just barely underway with teams ramping up their respective programs this week.

“I haven’t thrown at all,’’ Luck revealed on Monday afternoon, via CBS 4 Indianapolis.

However, the veteran signal caller still insists that this is the best offseason that he has ever encountered as a professional quarterback.

“But it’s been awesome,” Luck said of marriage. “It’s the best day of my life and probably the best offseason I’ve ever had.’’

Despite stringing together a tremendous season last year, Luck and the Colts don't appear to be done winning quite yet.

“Certainly we have goals and the goals are the same as last year,” Luck added. “You want to win the Super Bowl. You want to win your division. You want to make it to the playoffs. It’s about what we’re doing today to improve. That’ll stay the same every day.’’

Although the Colts failed to win the AFC South division last season, Indianapolis will no doubt head into the upcoming campaign as the favorites to do so this time around.
