The Indianapolis Colts shocked the world in Week 5's installment of Sunday Night Football, handing the previously undefeated Kansas City Chiefs their first loss of the 2019 regular season. With the Colts edging the once 4-0 Chiefs by the score of 19-13 on Sunday evening, head coach Frank Reich is deservedly receiving tons of credit for his team's latest win — a victory that has given Indianapolis a share of first place in the AFC South at 3-2.

“It speaks volumes of Frank,” a coach from another NFL team recently told Mike Sando of The Athletic. “Being a former quarterback, throwing the football is woven into his DNA. But Mahomes is so dynamic, keeping it away from him really helps.”

However, Reich was not surprised when his team came away with a win over the surging Chiefs, something that very few people thought would actually happen.

“I’ve come to learn in the NFL that the game is about so much more than Sunday,” Reich recently said, via NBC Sports' Pro Football Talk. “It’s about who you are and how you work Monday through Saturday, and you have to get your players to believe you are what you do during the week.”

Sunday evening's win over the Chiefs could prove huge for the Colts, who are looking to return to the postseason after a successful run under the direction of recently retired quarterback Andrew Luck in 2018. With the Houston Texans also at 3-2 on the year, the Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars are not too far behind at 2-3.
