Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell is sure to be one of the most highly sought after free agents on the market this offseason, and one team that could be interested in the star is the Indianapolis Colts.

However, Kristopher Knox of Bleacher Report thinks the Colts should stay away from Bell, citing is ridiculously high price tag as a reason for why Indianapolis should look elsewhere to bolster its roster.

Knox also says that the Colts don't even really need a running back, and he has a point.

After all, Marlon Mack rushed for 908 yards and nine touchdowns in 12 games this season, averaging 4.7 yards per carry. Also, backup halfback Jordan Wilkins totaled 336 yards and a score while registering 5.6 yards per attempt.

With Mack representing one of the league's most underrated rushers and Wilkins being very respectable in the reserve role, Knox is correct in his assertion that Bell does not really fill a desperate need for Indy.

Knox advises the Colts to pursue an edge rusher or another wide receiver, which makes plenty of sense given that Indianapolis ranked just 19th in the league in sacks this year and has very little depth being No. 1 wide out T.Y. Hilton.

Of course, Bell is one of the best backs in the league, so adding him would be a luxury and would certainly improve Indy's offense, but the key word there is “luxury.”

The Colts can get by just fine with Mack and Co. in the backfield.

Indianapolis went 10-6 this season and will take on the Houston Texans in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs on Saturday afternoon.
