The Indianapolis Colts got their quarterback, Carson Wentz, back on the practice field on Monday. Despite having surgery, Wentz made his return, and it is safe to say that Colts fans and players are ecstatic about his return. Even the Colts' official Twitter account got into the business after seeing Wentz throw some passes on the field.

After much uncertainty about his status to return, this is quite the shocking turn of events and a good one for Indianapolis. With Frank Reich deciding between Jacob Eason and Sam Ehlinger, it looks as if he won't have to make that decision anymore, as long as Went continues to progress well.

Even Wentz's teammates got into the action. Wide receiver Zach Pascal had a perfect reaction to his return, according to Bob Kravitz of The Athletic.

“…he threw a sail route and he threw me to the sideline, and I had to catch it and kind of tap my feet in. I was like, ‘What a ball.’ Right over the nickel’s head, in front of the corner’s head, right on the money. Once I saw that, I was like, ‘OK, yeah, my dawg is back.'”

Colts tight end Jack Doyle was also excited about the return of their quarterback.

“…you could see he had that little bit of the look in his eye and the adrenaline was going, so that was fun…It was great to see him look so good.”

Case and point, the return of Wentz is a huge development for the Colts, who had been concerned about his 5-12 week timetable. But, at this rate, he should be ready to suit up for their season opener at home against the Seattle Seahawks.
